Duke Humfrey's Library (est. 1450) this afternoon. I'm often here, hugging a radiator, frantically studying between auditions/jobs. It's where the invisibility cloak scenes in The Restricted Section of the Hogwarts Library were shot. Incredibly atmospheric. 📚✨

In my final year as a mature, creative writing student at Oxford - pray for me that I finish this story! 😭🤞🏼

Nothing visual - I mentioned a waft of strong perfume in the scene dock where I would often run lines, footsteps in the (empty) corridor upstairs near my dressing room & the feeling of being watched sitting in the auditorium. I'm fairly sensitive to it, I think? Inspired me to start writing!

Oh yes! I've performed in quite a few theatres said to be haunted over the years. One that springs to mind is Theatre Royal Stratford East. Beautiful, old theatre c.1884. Traditional reds and golds. Felt very 'charged' esp. backstage. A crew member confirmed as much when I tentatively mentioned it 👀
