Stardream Prologue on Steam Stardream is a story-driven investigation game set in a retro 60s-inspired space ark. As Darlene, a taxi driver turned into a pressured investigator, uncover a hidden truth that could shatter a perfect society.

Absolutely, people don't always realise the work started long before writing anything

I almost always draft the first sort of anchoring story beats of a new draft in my head long before I sit down to write. If you're actually doing the stereotypical "staring at a blank page" thing, you are not prepared and you need to step back to your outlining or research.

Many great writers have given good and positive advice, but if all else fails here is a secret evil truth:
If you go and read something by an overconfident straight white dude who failed upwards despite producing inescapably mediocre work, you may find that spite can be a horrible motivator

Everything is absolutely terrible. Good doesn't even exist.

Set basic objectives, work toward them; reach them or not. Repeat forever.

The reviews for the demo of Stardream are insanely good. 😳
This might come up as the pinnacle of my portfolio. It's so cool people can enjoy an entire piece of immersive narrative game for free, that helped to make. 😆
