The place I intended to set my tripod is the large buried rock in the middle foreground. 🤣

My favorite grab and go APS-C lens, an older Sigma 17-50/2.8, has suffered an unfortunate fungal bloom. 😢

I'm hoping the wee beastie isn't terminally gelled, I worked through a rough patch in single digit temps (Fahrenheit) on Saturday and parked her idling well. Unfortunately Sunday in the height of the storm I couldn't get her to hold idle and my only hope is a slowly rising overnight temperature 18*F

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.
