What’s so special about 195… OHHH!

They know when you need them! It’s like they can sense it, and they know how to calm you down when you’re stressed. On the flip side, they’re also programmed to stress you out when your calm 🤣 Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

The only problem I find is the subtitles. Why don’t the French subtitles match what’s being said?! Is it because they’re doing direct translations of the English audio instead of transcribing the French audio? It’s so weird, and it’s just adding to my confusion instead of being helpful.

Mike and I have made it our goal to become fluent in French… both for our upcoming Disneyland Paris trip, and to help us in our careers. And something we’ve been trying out is watching old Disney movies (that we already know inside and out) in French.

Something I’m really trying to master as a vlogger/video editor is learning to leave footage on the cutting room floor. I sometimes feel like I HAVE to include clips because… well… I took the time to film them. But sometimes less is more.

On Saturday, I had to say goodbye to Canada’s Wonderland as they took their final bow for the 2025 season. It’s always hard to go four months without being able to visit this place, but I’m so grateful for all the memories the 2025 season brought me.

I got to sing O Holy Night at my church’s Christmas Eve service tonight. I love this song so much, so it was a real treat to be able to do it, and in the moment, it felt so magical and moving.

Just wanted to send the biggest hug to everyone mourning the loss of Adam the Woo right now. I never had the pleasure of knowing him personally, but he was one of several channels that inspired me to pursue vlogging. He was a bright light in the community that will be missed.
