Also lower 00's score to an 8/10 as well, I was a bit over zealous because of the ending. Granted the equally excellent end sequence here absolutely raised this section a whole point.

But all in all, The empathy and nuance shown by the characters, and world in general, feels so far beyond what I'd ever expect, in such a fascinating way. You can perfectly envision why every person in this world thinks and acts the way they do. That aspect is truly sensational.

It builds into yet another heart-pumping sensational climax. Hibiki really grew on me and I absolutely loved him by the end and his relationships to all the characters. Which in turn, made me love all the characters and their connection more, (Even if I miss 00's characters on the whole)

Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After Episode 01

Goddamn! Apart from the very dull start, (Which kinda plagues both parts sadly) this is great! While part 00 excelled in its fascinating main quarrel, this part has such a nuanced and thought provoking world. I deeply thought about a lot of the scenarios.

Characters are used in very interesting ways. The pace is just right. And the ending is one of the best I'll ever see, in so many aspects. Don't wanna spoil so I'll leave it at that.

Trails Beyond the Horizon

Wow... What an amazing game. What an amazing series. I'll have to see how it sits with me, but this may very well be the best entry yet. The plot is certainly the best in the series. It just builds and builds with so much important stuff.
