Well 1-1.5k at 50k MRR isn't huge tbh. You're essentially paying 1.5k to have all the tax managed for you — which is SUPER annoying once you get above 10 different serviced countries.

I bet there's services where its technically cheaper and they manage it, but you're not saving a lot % wise.
