This BBC piece 24/2/21 shows we knew then but still UK IPC guidance does not reflect airborne transmission with RPE such as FFP3 respirators.

No, SARS-CoV-2 isn’t a little bit airborne. It’s not “situationally” airborne. It’s an AIRBORNE VIRUS, spreads via the air. I’m granting an amnesty on people who said (5y ago) that it wasn’t. I won’t say I told you so if you finally acknowledge the evidence. Let’s just get this right and move on.

It would take an hour to educate every healthcare worker in the world on how airborne transmission of viruses works, how respirators prevent transmission, and why it is good to stop transmission.

It is criminal that this has not been done already.
