Today is the second anniversary of my father in law's passing. I miss him even more than I admired him. We're having steaks in his honor, and I am reverse searing them on the smoker. I think he would have approved.

My eye doc was like "im the same age as you, we've got a few years left" and then he did the exam and laughed and apologized. I have a really strong prescription and a big astigmatism in one eye, so it just happens faster apparently.
