Sorry to be overly sincere for a second, but here's why we decided to persevere through all of the bullshit and take over InfoWars.

There's just gotta be a line somewhere.

Thank you @pablo.show for letting me talk so openly about this.

InfoWars Let me tell you a story. When I was a child, I suffered from night terrors. It was always the same dream: I could hear my family and neighbors wailing…

First drafts are usually pretty bad. Editing is where the craft comes in, and you can learn that by joining critique groups and writers forums.

Just write. Be brave. Do the thing despite the fear. The world will not end. You will not die. You're safe.

Push your ego aside and enjoy the process.

I use a thermometer. The technique is well outlined if you Google it.

That is one way to do it, and I still do when I don't have time for this, but reverse sear has a far superior result

Yes. Reverse sear method

Two beautiful wood fired NY strip steaks on a very old serving platter atop a stainless steel counter and with stainless steel tongs and a thermometer probe wire beside them

These are the best steaks I've ever made. Reverse seared on our new Traeger.

Today is the second anniversary of my father in law's passing. I miss him even more than I admired him. We're having steaks in his honor, and I am reverse searing them on the smoker. I think he would have approved.

The emails from my kid's school PTO has embedded ads that are quite a bit larger than the content of their messages.

This feels extremely American.

Close up shot of a very small brown snake on chunky gravel

Found this little Dekay's brown snake friend warming up by my back door this afternoon.

Maybe 14" long and gorgeous.

Going to my kid's school today not only to celebrate a completion of a project but also to match faces to all the random shit I've heard about some of these kids

My eye doc was like "im the same age as you, we've got a few years left" and then he did the exam and laughed and apologized. I have a really strong prescription and a big astigmatism in one eye, so it just happens faster apparently.

Mostly dont want to spend the money!

I thought i saw a young moose drinking from the creek by my house this morning, so I stopped to get a better ( but still distant) look.

It was a medium-sized boulder, and I think I really do need progressives after all

The bluesky algo continues to mystify me.

Glad people liked the cornbread.

Note to self: always wipe down the stove before pictures

Chili is the traditional pairing, but in some regions it's just table bread. Very crumbly.

I intended for this to go alongside pulled pork, but I'm still figuring out my smoker and it wasn't tender after 12 hours, so we had cornbread for dinner

Looks like a platform for egrets. I've seen them in Addison County and a ton on the causeway to South Hero, but not in Burlington

It's got some sugar and maple syrup in it. I'm a yankee, and many years of living in Texas never changed my preference.
