A look back on a rain affected end of season for Maghull, with the weather helping ensure another season in Division One for the 1st XI. maghull.play-cricket.com/news_details...
The weather wants to make itself known, but it is (in theory), for the last time this season, GAME DAY 🏏🏏🏏
This weeks award for “Chairman’s Performance of the Week” goes to Rowan Badger for his bowling performance for the 2nd XI on Saturday. Rowan took 3-15 from his nine overs, with an opening spell of 3-7 from his first five in his first outing opening the bowling for the 2s. Well bowled youngster!
Title chasing ORT are the visitors to Hall Lane as the 1st XI look to stave off relegation. The 2nds secured promotion last week, but their eyes have turned towards the championship as they go on the road to Caldy, and 4s will look to end their home campaign on a high tomorrow against Liverpool.
For the second to last time this season, and with a lot still to play for, it’s GAME DAY 🏏🏏🏏
This weeks award for “Chairman’s Performance of the Week” goes to Shaun Hornby, for his all round contribution to the 2nd XIs victory over Sutton. Shaun hit a season-best 81 from 96 balls (16 fours) then took 3-17 to finish off the game and help secure promotion for the 2s. Well played Shaun!
