A small cross stitch piece set against a backdrop of various floss, filaments, and dyed iridescent aida fabric messily organized. The piece is stitched on 18 count aida dyed a custom purple color, and the hoop is a matching shade in a metallic, also custom mixed. There is a magenta goblin with "STASH" written in a teal ribbon above and "GOBLIN" below. Smiley face and flower spangles from my stash are glued about the front.

My most recent finish! 😍 Mini "Stash Goblin" pattern designed by the talented @echoandmine.bsky.social. I changed things up a bit & went crazy with some colors and sparkle from my stash! ✨️🌈

(P.S. - they've also created a "Dice Goblin" pattern that I've just snagged 🤗)

A blueberry themed cross stitch piece set against a mini cocotte full of blueberries on a red gingham tablecloth with white butterflies printed on the squares. The photo is unedited (aside from any potential forced editing done by Samsung phones nowadays) but taken using a flashlight to produce an overly lit foreground with deep shadows. The flashlight causes a vignette effect around the outside of the image.

The blueberry themed cross stitch piece shown closer to show details, a 2.2" wooden embroidery hoop painted metallic blue and sprayed over with Mod Podge glitter sealer with alternating flower and leaf shaped spangles glued around the outside. The piece itself is stitched on blue 14 count iridescent aida cloth and uses metallic threads and glass seed beads with additional flower spangles stitched on the blueberries and iridescent sparkles glued about the front. Set against a beaded table runner in light colors.

A pink pig in fishnets and a skimpy lingerie number implying the pig is covering its no-no zones. It reads "hogs + kisses" and is surrounded by hearts, kisses, and "xo"'s in a circular pattern around. Hoop is painted a pearlized red with flaked glitter

A 6" cross stitch piece photographed against a shimmery gray curtain. Photographer's hand is visible in the bottom right.

The piece is stitched on a pale blue fabric displayed in an unpainted wooden embroidery hoop. "Don't Forget the Bag" is stitched in the center in all caps, bright red. Surrounding the phrase in a circular pattern, starting at the top going clockwise are: a small reusable bag with a tiny Earth on the side, 3 small apples in different colors, a differently styled reusable bag at 3 o clock in orange, 3 identical pretzels leading to another reusable bag with an Earth at 6 o clock. 3 oranges lead to a green version of the orange bag at 9 o clock, and finally 3 identical watermelon slices leading back to the top.

This one's my own design (including the font) - a #freepattern for those interested! Inspired by the fact that I can never remember my #reusablebag on the way out the door 🫠

A squared embroidery hoop with a cross stitch piece in progress on bright green aida fabric held up with a sparkling gray curtain and wooden flooring visible in the background. The Cryptkeeper's face is fully stitched, and the outline of a castle is in progress complete with 2 tiny spiders hanging off the bottom. A tiny sparkly strawberry needle minder with 2 gold needles is at the top left of the piece

A Psalm for the Wild Built or the Shady Hollow Series by Juneau Black! If you're into middle grade, the "Legends of Eerie on Sea" series is super cute! IIRC, there aren't any romantic elements in any of those (I don't care for romance myself).

Interestingly, this user has amassed several thousand more followers since that skeet was posted. How fortuitous!

A screenshot of a skeet posted by a user with 3k followers. This user has many "ally" emojis in their bio (for context - not pictured). The skeet reads: "To those unfolding since I began my book spotlight series for Black History Month... ✌️ I'm not sure who you THOUGHT you were following, but on this account we uplift and celebrate marginalized voices, including books written by black authors. (and that's all year round folks). #booksky

[lowercase b in "Black" used by original poster]

For additional context: with a few thousand followers, it is not likely you would notice a handful of people unfollowing. If you did notice, you would have zero way of knowing WHY they're unfollowing unless they message or comment why. If such messages or comments were received, screenshots would absolutely be included. Those looking to boost their following will always exploit whatever opportunity they can.

Friendly reminder that there's always a *specific demographic* of "ally" that will post something 100% performative like this in February/May/June. Please be wary of disingenuous ploys utilizing Black History, AANHPI, and Pride months to gain followers.
