And (sample size of one) the viewer in question watches 4+ hours of the same 3-5 news stories repeated over and over, with different presenters, different yes-men seconding it. Its just this huge wall of "information" and I don't see how people come back from it. There's no equiv from the D side.

Every statement by Trump or a mouthpiece is "fact" and taken at face value. Never even the possibility of a mis-statement. This is stuff we'd see on a North Korean propaganda broadcast and mock but somehow that's the mainstream fox news show.

Its also a steady stream of "look how dumb this democrat is" (generally women of color) and lots of snide inside jokes about how smart fox news viewers wouldn't hold these types of nonsense views. Obvious strawmen are setup in one breath to become the mainstream D position right after.

I'm staying with my dad for the week and thus listening to 4 hours a day of fox news at full volume. I've not listened to this much uninterrupted fox news in a long time (20 years?) and its really shocking how weird it is. Every talking head guest has to praise Trump's genius/power/will first.
