Some time ago, I might have cared more. But now, the only reason I care about someone shooting Kirk, is the inevitable backlash. Of course, it would always be something. Trump and his ilk are always looking for an excuse. If not this, it would be something else.

We lost the vote in the Senate to reveal the Epstein files. All but 2 GOP Senators voted to keep them hidden.
And just like that, the Epstein matter is swept off the front page. If it resurfaces, expect Trump to start making many more purely political arrests.

After centralizing power within the government around one authority, in this case the presidency, the next step in establishing fascism is to extend that authority into every neighborhood. Gestapo on your corner.

Seeking a bit of refuge here. FB is just carpeted today with AI generated content. I can't make sense of most of it. It isn't seemingly promotional or commercial; it's just more content, write-ups about old rocks bands, fake histories, or descriptions of art that doesn't actually exist.
It is all a bit chaotic
