Breaking news: Virginia voters approved a referendum to draw new congressional districts that could add up to four Democratic seats in the House, AP projects, giving Democrats an advantage in the national redistricting war begun by Republicans.
Virginia Dems will end up passing their gerrymander by 3-4 points.
Rs weren't as outspent here as they were in D. Got tons of useful $ at the end, prob spent $40m.
But if Rs were allowed to criticize Trump they might carp that he hoarded PAC money and did his own Virginia fundraiser w/o helping.
So much false equivalence in media on gerrymandering in Texas vs California & Virginia. California and Virginia maps approved by the voters. That's a huge difference not enough people pointing out
With 77 percent of the vote in, the forecast for a Yes win has dipped very slightly to a 3.3-point margin of victory.
This is monstrous. Just profoundly shameful behavior by our government.

There are now public polls taken in the last few weeks showing Dems ahead in Senate races in Alaska, Iowa, Maine, North Carolina, and Ohio - more than enough to flip the Senate - and competitive in Florida and Texas too.
So far, #Costco is the only company who plans to lower prices to pay back consumers who shouldered the cost of #tariffs .

We've had administrations where the Civil Rights Division took a less watchful eye to the rights of racial minorities or diverted its energies to address other issues, but this is the first administration in history to pervert it wholly into a tool to *hurt* the people its supposed to protect.
It's increasingly clear that Trump has a pretty tenuous grasp on the Iran war and its impacts on the Middle East generally, Iran specifically, gas prices and the global economy. May the learning accelerate.
