Recent food pics! I've enjoyed cooking with the temps getting lower.
Salish sea cornbread muffins, chicken with Ozette potatoes, homemade tomatillo salsa, TACOS.
Good book!
My bone eaters were lovely this year. ๐ฆด

I don't think that's the issue. The author is using harmful stereotypes to tell their story. Based on the other reviews written on Goodreads.
Could spraying happen during meeting? ๐
Yikes.... not even their own tribe. Well, heres first book was trash. Not surprising this one is gonna be garbage too.
Great way to start the morning! Short stories by Metis writer Griffin Bjerke-Clarke. #booksky #indigenousbooks
I'm definitely gonna try to make the next Garden 4 You event. I need to learn how to set up drip irrigation.
The club does seem kinda structured around lectures right now. But maybe more community building / hanging out will be included later on!
If it helps, this is the fertilizer that I've been using and had great success. I've never burnt my starts. The compost and worm castings are from my own systems.
I mix up my own and im... not the best about recording what all goes into it. Hahaha.
This year it was shifted recycled potting soil, coco coir & perlite mix, compost, a tiny amount of worm castings, and a tiny amount of seed starting fertilizer.
I'll browse the SpokaneGardeners subreddit, but I'm not too interested in joining the platform. Thanks for posting all the details about gardening there though!
Hey, @thekr.bsky.social! Does Spokane have an actual gardening club anymore? That's not the master gardeners? ๐
I was a little too rough transplanting up these calendula. :[ #spokanegarden
March 5th! I've had good success starting the first week of March. ๐ถ
These are all Botanical Interests and Territorial seeds. Definitely think their plants are ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐
I'm always hesitant to request a spot because of the exact experience you had. ๐ฅฒ but I totally get why they're still doing it like this.
I'll probably pass again this year.
They're loving the greenhouse! #spokanegarden
Parking downtown is difficult. Clark Park is right on division and middle of town. Good for visibility.
Is this sale worth snagging a spot? I've never been before. ๐
Dang! I'll have to miss it. But if you go, can you share how it was?
