After I saw Pulse I ended up watching this and then Chime and enjoyed them all. I think Cure is my favourite though, the aesthetic is so good

sounds like you're gatekeeping treats to me
I was expecting it to be an affogato

All of my colleagues are using AI while I'm not. It feels like I'm missing out so I decided to sit down and write down my thoughts on why I'm so resistant to it.
In the end, I'm very happy with what I wrote so I put it on my blog
served the new tenant the day she moved in as well for an extra kick in the shins
"no-fault evictions are gone" thank fuck. My previous landlord waited until she filled the empty room in our house. Then served the new tenant and all of us no-fault evictions just so she could get as much money out of us during the notice period. Absolute scum
(Oops didn't realise that wasn't replying directly to me, point still stands)
Yeah I know, I was just thinking of the question from the Evan Edinger video of "The UK is a diverse and dynamic nation which welcomes those who want to make a positive contribution to society" and the correct answer was "true". It's amazing how you can judge people on subjective propaganda
It really feels the purpose of the system is to make it as expensive and stressful as possible. Yet than Evan video on the test has that question saying about how they welcome immigration (of a sort)
I had a similar thing with my wife, but applying outside the UK. When my visa ran out and I had to return to the UK she couldn't come and visit because entering while you have an application voids it. And they have her passport during the process so she couldn't leave to somewhere else or me to her
I also remembered to do this because of @predr.ag so also give his post a read. He's gone slightly more technical than my touching grass bsky.app/profile/pred...
First time posting for #aprilcools this is about my time rice farming in Japan: xd009642.github.io/2026/04/01/M...
We used to say digging to Australia in the UK - similar to the Germans it seems. But giving ourselves a bigger target to hit
Become a Gatsby like figure, no one is stopping you becoming Gatsby
I've seen a few in Japan, I think it's a side effect of some of the budget hotels being repurposed apartment buildings.
I saw someone posting how bloodletting via leeches lead to a notable increase in their testosterone by removing microplastics from their blood... Bryan Johnson is apparently on the case now
huggingface.co/nvidia/nemot... nemotron is one this year on real time streaming ASR. Trying to get accuracy with something suitable for real time usage. There's also meta's omnilingual ASR github.com/facebookrese... that come to mind
Even if there aren't efficiency gains you're now expected to output a lot more due to expected efficiency gains.
yeah very classic. Ultimately, at my own work I find AI is more a burnout tool than something useful. Execs don't know what's easy or hard for AI but doing something faster means tasks come faster and then if something takes longer they assume that dev lacks the skill to adapt to the AI era.
"less and less time available because we fall into a trap where we’re immediately filling it with more things." Are you familiar with Jevons Paradox?
Also any bit of basic research says SOC 2 type ii requires 3 months of observation. Not possible in 2 weeks like delve claim. It should be obvious to anyone what corner cutting regulations means... Tho their 2 weeks could be taken as the work minus observation but that feeds into the bad marketing
Whereas no details on things like AWS integrations, questions about our cloud infra to understand where they might be impedance mismatch. No examples on how the process of fixing compliance violations works. It was so devoid on practical details I don't see how anyone would purchase it...
Seems delve the AI SOC-2 compliance service is a big scam. Not too surprising I was asked at work to evaluate them and ended up advising we don't purchase it. They missed one sales call and rescheduled and just showed us their web UI and namedropped existing customers substack.com/home/post/p-...
Great, separation of Church and State would be a much needed modernisation of this archaic crumbling country.
You'd think the fact that the US transited its nuclear arsenal through Japan in modern times is widely believed and accepted would be a bigger issue nationally. Though I've only seen anti US leftists in Japan mention it (but I am ignorant of a lot locally so 🤷♂️)
Damn guess they've got to aim for 79.99% then
Right now Github's only hope of 3 9s of uptime is if they hit 89.99%
Maybe gymnastics, the falls can be brutal and concussions are no joke

Huh interesting, looking online it's not illegal to do it just sell the liquid nicotine. So it's not quite like marijuana where it's illegal to possess as well.
