The football calendar is totally messed up and it causes such disruption to a domestic season

I still can’t get my head round the point of International Breaks. 30 years ago when club squads were less than 20 players, it was never a problem to play for your country midweek and then play again the following Saturday. What difference has it made? We’ve not won anything 😀
