Clue is in the job title. Prime Minister. Prime, yes, but prime among equals. Not presiding. It's a subtle difference that I'm entirely unsurprised is lost on the chap.

You know what would also be awesome to bring to America? Universal healthcare. That's also a reason Europeans are healthy. Access to healthcare that doesn't bring bankruptcy.

The Tories made Shaun Bailey a Baron after he lost the Election to Sir Sadiq Khan.
The Tories made Zac Goldsmith a Baron after he lost the Election to Sir Sadiq Khan.
They haven't given Susan Hall a Damehood yet, but I suspect its only a matter of time.

Another thing the media aren't pointing out, with CPTPP. The Tories are hailing it as a great step, at the same time as trying to sound hawkish on China. One thing which isn't in the article: there are a whole lot of people who got used to having political influence under the Tories and are struggling to adapt. And a similar trend among voters.

Sometimes governments do things you don't like! That isn't "undemocratic", and you can't hack the system
