Even though fewer and fewer readers see work on newspaper pages nowadays, I still compose them to be viewed that way.

Rep. Libby’s rhetoric spoils high school running | Letter Rep. Laurel Libby, R-Auburn, recently used my second-place finish in the 1,600-meter run, and that of my teammate in the 800-meter run, to malign Soren Stark-Chessa, the trans-identified athlete who f...

Amazing. Well done, Anelise Feldman!

"No one was harmed by Soren’s participation in the girls’ track meet, but we are all harmed by the hateful rhetoric of bullies, like Rep. Libby, who want to take sports away from some kids just because of who they are."

This is likely a bad time to remind everyone that due to the way percentages work, a 10% drop requires an ~11% increase to return to the same value. A 20% drop requires an 25% increase:

100*0.8 = 80
80*1.25 = 100

I feel like homeschooling ends up with a bimodal distribution. Some end up great and have top tier experiences (Bryan Caplan's kids for example) and others have effectively no education (redacted example). Less in the middle however.

iOS is similar and requires passcode for first unlock. You can also pocket-shutdown without the touchscreen with the sequence <volume_up> <volume_down> <side_button_hold_5s>

On Android (double check your version by trying it), a quick reboot will usually require a non-biometric authentication. A quick hack if you feel you need it is to long press that power button and hit reboot. (Not sure about iOS)

@zed.dev uses something really close to this and makes it easy to add additional documents into the context. Made for programming, but I can see it working for others who like to work in text files

Neville Chamberlain - Wikipedia

Trump appears to have chosen the en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neville... approach to Putin. May he recall how history will remember him as weak and nearsighted before there is no turning back.
