Atención #hispanoparlantes: ¿Cómo traducirían esta frase al inglés? Mi intento: Some people suck, others suck it.
Kristi Noem was spotted in downtown San Jose today, so I thought I’d translate this phrase that is outside of the National Assembly for her:
“Refugees are like you and me, with just one difference : they have been forced to flee their country to save their lives.”
This sign is just under my uvula.
There is a line vuvuzela in the crowd at today’s game.
I bought a six-pack last night and it came with a free tobacco vape. I had never used one of those before so I decided to rove it a try. It tasted good. It felt good. I liked it. So I gave it away. Don’t know how those things are legal.
Mar Espinar criticized Isabel Diaz Ayuso for her alignment with Trump during a government hearing: (English translation in the post) “Cójase al mafioso de su jefe de Gabinete, tire para Mar-a-Lago y déjenos aquí — que somos más de los valientes de Minnesota”
Mar Espinar, Spain’s PSOE deputy, on Isabel Díaz Ayuso’s support for Trump:
“Take your mafioso chief of staff, go to Mar-a-Lago, and leave us here — because we are more like the brave ones from Minnesota”
Between this and The Old Mill, the Great Minnesota Get-together was pinnacle of entertainment.
Oftentimes the phones would ring, and I’d answer. “Is Fulano there?” A voice would ask. “He lives in the blue house in front.” So I’d go seek out Fulano, who would then come to the street and chat as if it were his living room.

A man approached me last night: “Hello, sir, please feel no obligation, but would you give me some money for food?” I gave him a couple bucks and he handed me this:
There’s a growing anti-gentrification movement aimed at Americans in many countries. Here’s some graffiti im San Jose, Costa Rica, outside of the National Assembly.
A lady’s dog just pissed on the floor in Gate E and her entire group just kept walking.

It used to be that a 500-word essay on what I did over summer vacation was a task that would vex me for weeks. Now I just wrote 600 words on what my colleagues did last week in 40 minutes.
If I were to tweak a good song I wrote, would I fine-tune a fine tune?

After I was done wandering the fairgrounds, I slipped into the bike parking, showed my ticket, and rode away much faster than all those chumps backed up in cars on Como. It almost felt illicit.

Biking to the State Fair is where it’s at: free, guarded and right outside the entrance.
I'm officially offering naming rights to my Frogtown home to the highest bidder (reserve must be met).
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz comforted this woman at the candlelight vigil for Melissa and Mark Hortman last night at the State Capitol. He gave no remarks, had no visible security, and mourned with the Hortman family and all Minnesotans. #leadership
The answer is not four, but very likely five. #gout
