Yuck. I’d absolutely hate that. I have many terrabytes’ worth of archived photos and they’re arranged in folder hierarchies with logical naming conventions. 100s of 1000s of unkeyworded images but I can find a specific one usually within a minute or two. Works for me.

It needs to be done at school. Just the basics, so people can find their way around.

I’ve seen family members come unstuck too many times when (eg) they can’t find a specific file.
