I get the frustration—there’s plenty in politics that earns cynicism. I just don’t think giving up on differences between people and policies helps fix it.

Healthy skepticism is fair. But saying no one in politics can be trusted goes too far and doesn’t match reality—there are real policy differences and accountability matters.

You didn’t actually address what I said. There’s a difference between criticizing flaws in a system and writing the whole thing off as pointless. One is analysis, the other is just defeatism.

Being wealthy isn’t a policy. Judge what they do in office, not how much money they had before it. Otherwise you’re just guessing outcomes based on stereotypes, not reality.
