I would guess that Tricky is remembered more because "It's Tricky" is an earworm.

I also suspect that Tricky benefited from the EA Big marketing push, while that brand was dying by SSX 3.

Made it an objective to get to blue ranks before the reset.

It took a catastrophic fall back to red for me to get my shit together 💀

(I realised after posting that there is a difference in the ability for people to change characters, but that's beyond the game mechanics)

One thing with Granblue tho is that there is strategy in meter spend. Once you super, the meter fills up much slower, so you might lock yourself out of tools if you cash out early. (tho that resets between rounds too)

When I made my video on one and dones, it was surprising to see that nobody in the comments mentioned how resources that carry over change the structure of a match.

Like if nothing carries over, what's the difference between 1 FT2 set and 1 FT4 match.

I was also very confused the first time I heard that.
