If the government were serious about a gambling ads restriction: ACMA today could pressure for Tabcorp to sell three commercial licences.
2KY in Sydney NSW, 4IP in Brisbane and 4FC in Maryborough in QLD are owned by Australia's most significant local gambling company.
Apparently, the 60sec version of the
"Sydney System" commercial is now on Youtube.
You could easily cut out the 80's Sydney footage, put in modern rail network footage (Sydney Metro/LR included) and it'd still work as a public transport advertisement today.
