Hmmm. Okay. I guess just putting my opinion in here that Paladins are most interesting as flawed zealots to established faiths. I find the idea that they are attempting to be Paragons, but often become hardline zealots interesting. That seems to work best with dogmatic religions, IMO.
Not trying to start a fight. Just honestly wondering why the concepts you mentioned should even be "paladins" at all. By definition, Paladins are holy warriors.
