Bakugou placed more fish onto Kirishima’s plate, his usual scowl back but it’s laced with so much love, it’s not so scary anymore.
“Okay okay.” Kirishima’s chest swelled with joy and contentment as he enjoyed their meal together.
No one else was there to witness their little ‘I love yous’ and domestic antics.
It’s theirs alone.
“I love you.” Kirishima exclaimed, not able to contain his affection and endearment.
Bakugou looked at him, his eyes softening and its red shimmering more golden in the morning light.
“I love you too.” He whispered, but it was heard, because it was just them.
Kirishima nodded, and Bakugou huffed once more before sitting down to resume eating, “And you better have a ring next time.”
“I’ll be better prepared.” Kirishima grinned, eating the meal made for him on a random Wednesday by his boyfriend in his pjs.
“You didn’t just propose to me at breakfast on a random Wednesday?! In my pajamas too!”
Kirishima looked confused & amused, “Babe—“
Bakugou shook his head in disbelief, “No no, this is not acceptable. I’ll pretend you didn’t say that and wait for you to plan a decent proposal.”
