The kings are actually much luckier when picking 3rd or 4th or 42nd. Their previous 1 and 2 picks were Never Nervous Pervis and Marvin Bagley.

Kings picked up two first rounders and didn’t even need to include Keon Ellis in the deal because he was already traded weeks ago. Perry is out here playing 3D chess while the rest of the league is playing checkers.
You didn’t miss anything unless you take pleasure in a world class tank job.
some good draft picks and bad free agent signings and then giving away Keon. we still have some of those senior citizen free agents like McDermott and westbrook he signed who are taking up space where a young good player would be better. So far, underwhelming. Not as terrible as Mavs and Wizards.
At this rate the Kings be confident they can pay top dollar to these senior citizens for a couple more years and win a top draft pick every year.
If the rest of the acclimation goes as planned, he is expected to request a trade in 10 months.
I would hope the grizzlies sweeten that deal with draft compensation since the Kings would be taking a problematic player on a longer bad deal.
Perry might have a long term plan. Once he lets us know what it is, these chess pieces the Kings keep sacrificing might make sense. Or he’s just spitballing possibilities based on a gut feeling.
Not if LaVine has anything to say about it!
Two half court heaves in 10 seconds ensures it. Pad his stats and make sure kings lose.
When Vivek tells you to give away your best players and throw in draft picks to make it happen, you do it.
It’s called subtraction by subtraction. Keep giving away assets until no one wants to play for your team.
It’s a great trade for the players who no longer have to play for this train wreck of a team though. Keon will be great in Cleveland and the kings will regret this trade in about two
Seconds.
Gotta keep him out and injury free if he’s being traded in the next day or so for a first rounder.
It could be a whole lot worse. Imagine asking to be traded and you end up on the Kings. 🤔
Not sure why Monk doesn’t get that 30 seconds of playing time though.
I hope he kills it down there and comes back ready to ball out this tank.
But the election is next year. When those 40% of dems vote blue, they just need a few rational republicans to understand that this insanity can stop. How hard can it be?
Start the rookies and start working on being competitive next year.
Those districts still need to hold elections. If republicans win all these new districts then democrats have serious problems. But if the elections were held today the republicans would most likely lose some of these seats.
You know him better than I do! Kings fans only know present day Zach Lavine.
Actually no. He’s very honest and open about not wanting to play defense. The owner gave up our star point guard to get a guy who openly says he won’t play defense. Don’t blame the player. This starts at the top.
But first trade all the old guys who can’t play defense.
I’m sorry if you had to watch this in person. It was pretty awful on tv.
Add Keon and cash considerations to this list of starters and it’s all good.
Changes nothing actually. Kangz gonna Kangz.
Kings gave Valanciunas to the Nuggets this offseason. Makes sense he beats them tonight.
But it takes each GM 6 years to realize this, which is why we never have a true rebuild. Just restocking from the clearance aisle and the returns cart.
Zach is challenging the Kings to replace him with a guy like Gobert if they want a defensive mindset. Makes sense. Kings have built an offense first team that plays defense occasionally.
