Lesbian Visibility Week reminds us that being seen can be life-changing 💙
By listening to lived experiences, supporting those that need it without judgement and standing up for inclusion, we all can create safer futures. Visibility is not just about being seen. It’s about being supported 🌈

As EYHC steps into independence, we look forward to continuing our close partnership as we work towards a shared goal: ending youth homelessness in Wales.
EYHC becoming an independent charity is a powerful moment that reflects the strength of the foundations laid in its early years. We look forward to continuing to work in partnership to end youth homelessness in Wales.”
@samaustin14.bsky.social, Chief Executive of Llamau, said:
“We are immensely proud to have founded End Youth Homelessness Cymru and to have supported its growth from a bold campaign into a respected national movement...
Becoming an independent charity, with its own Board of Trustees and a Young People’s Board made up of EYHC Champions, reflects the strength of the foundations built during EYHC’s early years and the collective ambition behind its mission.
Since then, it has grown into a nationally recognised movement. Bringing organisations together, influencing policy, driving research and amplifying the voices of young people across Wales.

🧵 Today Llamau marks an important milestone in the journey of @eyhc.bsky.social as they officially become an independent charity.
Founded and led by Llamau in 2017, EYHC was created to drive systemic change and ensure youth homelessness in Wales is prevented, not managed.

Being homeless affects every part of your life. Sleeping outside or juggling an ever-changing network of sofas and floors is challenging and exhausting. Mental health issues can easily take hold💔

This Sunday is International Women’s Day. But across Wales, too many women experiencing domestic abuse are also facing homelessness — often sofa surfing or staying in unsafe environments.
When women have safe housing and the right support, they can rebuild their lives and communities grow stronger.
