Much joy can be derived from looking at even the most mundane things and trying to puzzle out how it all works out. Why do things look the way they do? How does your eye level influence it? What about the lighting? How does it just -feel- in general? Stuff like that.

I am glad to have learnt everything that I have during this time, it provides opportunities that I wouldn't have otherwise. But it has definitely highlighted how people in the professional art industry have blinded themselves to the beauty and joy that can be found in every day life.
After a year and a half of studying up on tech art related subject matter I've finally gone back to drawing fundamentals and it really feels like coming home.

If the origins are in the some position for each of these, then you could probably do this with a boolean operation. But I am not well acquainted with sculpting, nor do I know the software you're using.
Sometimes I have the idea of dusting off some of my old projects and bringing them up to date.

I feel something similar to this when entering another person's home. None of the rules that I'm used to are present and it never fails to highlight the differences.
Aggression wasn't the survival mechanism in my case, but I can very much relate.
The Nsfw version for the Delver's Guide to Beastworld's 2025 Callendar! I had a blast being part of this big project!

Work in progress screenshot of a painting depicting a natural grass landscape at twilight along with a yellow-hued moon. Ruins are scattered throughout the environment.

Portrait of a male individual from three quarter view that looks directly at the viewer. Translucent glyphs are visible in the starry background. He has an earring depicting a crescent moon (and a hanging spike) in gold and wears a blue crystal pendant.
Liminal Reflection
This painting very much represents personal change. It was fun to write the glyphs in the background. They are based on a font that I made back in 2017.
Expressions are no joke! I can safely say that I dedicate a lot of my time on pieces trying to get the vibe just right with them. Doubly so on portraiture.
A male anthro jackal with white fur in front of an eclipse. Tears fall down into the glowing pink waters that surround him. The background features a starry night with shooting stars.
A male humanoid character with a furry white cloak. The cloak forms into water where it reaches the water surface. Two spectral canine ears are atop the character's head.
A male character clad in sexually suggestive clothing. Notable are two translucent lines of fabric that are around his torso. His overall pose is cheeky and suggestive.
A shirtless male character that wears isolated sleeves peers out from a ruined structure. He wears a pendant and his shoulders are adorned with runic tattoos. A faint shape of a statue is visible in the background along with a doorway from which a yellow light floods the scene.
Some of my past works that I've not posted here yet.
Looking at these always fills me with such joy. Even now!

Something similar to this is felt when going through old sketchbooks I think. It can be bittersweet.

Yes, this is in fact how I chose to end my social media hibernation. It's been a while.
I watched the DMC anime and I can safely say that I am very much -not- normal about the White Rabbit.

I haven't dealt with this myself, but if I were in your shoes I would analyse which qualities I'd want to avoid from my own art and seek alternative methods within the work of other artists (that you admire).
