Some ass opposite me at a traffic light, flashing his hibeams and waving at me to take my left turn in front of him as he didn't go through his right-of-way green light.
Until he saw that I was pointing at the child crossing the street that I would have had to run over to proceed.

I left out the word "but"
I would say it's unbelievable *but*, looking at the US from Canada, it has become totally believable.

I'm going to laugh SO HARD when we open the market to more Chinese EVs to keep up with the demand caused by Turnip's idiocy.
Then we will have to build proper infrastructure to charge them and big oil loses its grip on us all

What right do they have to do that???

One all the rich people have all the money, what will they take from us then? Your freedom.

I don't watch NHL hockey anymore.
Seeing the highlights of the Ottawa game and the interview after with the Ottawa coach saying he "really liked" the fight at the opening faceoff solidify that decision.
Someone needs to tell these teams that 50% of teams that fight lose the game.

The best thing about the Blue Jays for me is that the evening games are on so late at night here in NL that in typically fall asleep before they do that late inning fail.

Just gotta say, what the hell right does the USA have to blockade ANYTHING on that side of the world? Make it make sense.

If I had to rank them they go:
3rd place - Time Out Error
2nd place - Rate Limit Exceeded
And the winner, in 1st place - Forbidden. πŸ†

I need to see the face of the person to the left (of the tv screen) behind home plate who is keeping score at the Jays/Brewers game.
They are marking every pitch.
I'm impressed.

I have two answers
King Kong on TV at 5. I had nightmares of KK killing all the neighbourhood dads after watching that. I can STILL remember the dream, but not the movie.
Disney's Sleeping Beauty at 6.
They showed reel to reel movies at school.
I had to be taken from the room Screaming in terror.

I think it was a power supply issue and I had it plugged into a power bar and not directly into the wall, so that could have been the issue.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but a cut in federal tax on gas is a subsidy to Big Oil.

My first husband works building new schools. He said that they build for the expected population once the families in the neighbourhood settle.
New neighbourhoods have fewer households with grown kids and more households with young children.
They don't want to have an oversized school in 20 years.

My discover feed has changed from d e a d p e t posts to people asking to no longer see d e a d p e t posts, so that's an improvement, I guess.
At least it wasn't just me.

That's kinda cool. In Canada, or at least in Newfoundland, we just have "theft over $5000" or "theft not over $5000".

I want to congratulate Tatiana Auguste, Danielle Martin, and Doly Begum on their election as the new Members of Parliament for Terrebonne, University-Rosedale, and Scarborough Southwest.
I also thank every candidate who put their name forward, across all parties. In doing so, you have strengthened our democracy at a decisive moment for Canada.
Tonight, voters have placed their trust in our new government's plan. We accept that support with humility, determination and a clear understanding of what this moment demands.
This is a time to come together so we can build a Canada strong for all.
That is how we will continue to govern. We will work with all parties and solicit all perspectives in Parliament. The work ahead demands collaboration, partnership, and ambition to deliver at the speed and scale Canadians are counting on.
We are building a stronger economy to make life more affordable, to create high-paying jobs, to take care of each other and to determine our own future.
We will build a Canada that is not just strong, but good; not just prosperous, but fair; not just for some, most of the time, but for all, all of the time.
That is the responsibility we have been given by Canadians. We will achieve it together.
The Rt. Hon. Mark Carney, Prime Minister of Canada
M.E
