Did you already submit your bird-themed game to our aptly named Steam festival Birds of Play? We need 20-50 wild games to submit the festival and then hopefully are able to go through with it and officially host it on Steam.

It’s inaccurate to say Mario is brave and Luigi is cowardly
Luigi is afraid of death, so he runs away from danger. Mario is afraid of living, so he runs towards death. Both brothers are cowards in their own way
Made this cute smol interactive fiction about being a birb the other day. This is my only suitable for all game.

In Project Arcmör, a minor incident prevents your ship from beginning the rewarding challenge of colonizing a new planet.
Are you expendable enough to solve the problem?

Rise and grind baby, it’s time to play hard games.
My latest is a reflection on different flavours of grinding in video games: playingthisweek.substack.com/p/grinding-w...
I love sharing numbers so here's a video of how much we spent to make Mythmatch.
I break it down by time, discipline, and funding source.

(This is just a screenshot from the exoIF site itself.) "Interactive fiction is one of the earliest forms of computer entertainment. The earliest game in this pack dates back to 1970. Through the decades the genre has remained popular, with its peak in the mid-80s at the hands of Infocom. They popularized the inclusion of "feelies" in their boxed games. These were small trinkets that helped illustrate the story (and sometimes held clues necessary to complete the game)." (etc...)
Release #2 of exoIF is out! Now over 2000 games.

improper use of the red cross symbol is a violation of the geneva convention so this is, quite possibly, the funniest excuse he could have come up with
The Vimes Boots Theory has been running up hard against "are these boots $200 because they're built right, or is that purely a brand positioning thing and they're made of the same 1mm-thick fake leather as the $50 ones"
I haven’t seen any of the articles about him fantasizing he’s Jesus mention his cosplay Pope from last year. I don’t know if that’s evidence that there’s just too much to keep track of or proof that the press just resets back to zero after every outrage.

A list of questions that reads some of the things on my mind as the game begins: Do health and mana restore automatically, or do you need resources to restore them? How precious are those resources? How do you distinguish important NPCs from generic background characters? Is this the sort of game where every item has potential value, or are there too many items in the world to possibly grab them all? Is it the sort of game where a thorough player can find every bit of treasure, or would that be insane? Is this the sort of game where when you see a valuable item, you take it, or does it have an ownership/theft system? If the latter, what are the consequences for violating it?

Lane Mastodon vs. the Blubbermen (1988)
In this Infocomics release, we follow the adventures of accountant turned superhero, Lane Mastodon, as he saves humanity from the terrible blubbermen of Jupiter. They're using a space ray to enlarge our insects, and must be stopped before it's too late! 1/4
