You have 6 months to appeal a denial. Some insurance companies will give extensions. Good luck!!!

I laughed way too hard at this imagery. π€£
My husband exclusively reads graphic novels he has probably read 4 novels that were not filled with pictures. He's probably read more books than me as a result and that's impressive. Its made me understand that I don't care what my kids read as long as they are reading.
The rules in our house for swear words are 1)use them correctly and in context. 2)Don't use them outside the house.3) if used in anger do it alone in your bedroom or the shower.
About $175, it's been awhile since I counted, but I'm pretty sure I have close to 700. Haven't been able to buy in a long while. So most of the books I read in the past 5 years were borrowed on KU. If we included those I'd easily be at 250 plus.
I've been relatively inactive for the past 2 years on FB while playing on TT, but I much prefer written word to video. So have started spending more time here in the past 2 weeks. Pretty sure this is my platform now.
I've received the orgy text before. Everyone decided they didn't want to wear shoes lol π
What a great tool. I have been trying to teach my kids to think independently, but having done it out of necessity for so long wasn't sure how to put it into lesson or conversation beyond just asking why they thought we did things? This list dives so much deeper. Thank you.
Pictures of our feast.
So thankful to cook Thanksgiving with my husband for the 12th year in a row. Each year has been massively different and he has changed the way I view the Thanksgiving feast with his creativity. I look forward to seeing what the next 20 plus brings.
In a world where we are systematically taught to hate and envy, we should sit in gratitude for the people who have the courage to love: to love themselves, to love us, to love our joy, to love the human right to love. If you are one of those loving people, then Iβm sitting in gratitude for you.
Those are the most adorable names for turkeys I've ever heard. I love it. Thank you for your service peach and blossom.
My spelling gets a bit off with the character count sometimes, but I do attempt to spell check. For the words I miss I blame autocorrect. #grammarpoliceme #autocorrectfails
I've always said words mean things. And I have tried to pass this adage on to my children. It is important that we teach our children emotional vocabulary if we are to establish productive conversationalists and advocates for the future.
canβt stop thinking about this Mary Oliver poem π₯Ή
This is so beautiful. What a lucky group of kids.
ππππ may they all reach the safety they need.
Book cover RACE TO THE TRUTH: COLONIZATION AND THE WAMPANOAG STORY shows a Wampanoag woman with long braids paddling a canoe
Book cover HISTORY SMASHERS THE MAYFLOWER shows a pile of Pilgrims dressed in black and white crowded on a ship with a speech bubble that says "It totally didn't happen this way."
Please don't tell kids that old "First Thanksgiving" myth and pass it off as actual history. Share books like these this week instead.
Congratulations that isn't an easy feat. I've managed to get 1 book past the 40k mark, I have like 7 or 8 sitting between 10k and 36k unfinished. π
I work at a library, and we offer so much more than books. Patrons have access to: 3D printers, a soundproof recording studio, Cricut machines, thousands of DVDs, board games, Legos, and free classes on writing, finances, ESL, book making, etc. Check out your public library, you might be surprised!
Choose 20 books that have stayed with you or influenced you. One book per day for 20 days, in no particular order. No explanations, no reviews, just covers.

Funny how most of Maga doesn't know what fascism means...
They think we're using the word wrong.
Definitely one of my top ten.
