I feel like every 2nd or 3rd pixel art I start doing turns into a study, so, despite the fact I've been doing art for such a short time it's probably the majority of my use of the skill so far

Every time I try to draw something new, it turns into a study and takes 4 hours. Anyway, here's the riding animation I was working on, twice as big as my normal canvas and that was very intimidating. Now, though, I can just tweak it for the other characters.

The goblin dancer's idle (and her stuck-in-wall ass) transition into her standing and looking face-on at the camera, then her in a cowgirl position with and without accessories so I can make easy adjustments and use it as a base for the other characters.

Hadn't drawn anything in a couple days so I wanted to get some practice in before bed. Working on a little cowgirl animation for the goblin game, took the regular standing sprite and made big adjustments until I was happy with it. I put this together in about 25 minutes!

I should've kept more of the WIPs of this, but I whipped up this pose using a reference and decided to try shading in an unrealistic, but visually pleasing way. It basically implies there's a light source hanging directly between her legs, but I think it reads really well anyway. About 45 minutes!
