Final vs #sketch vs clean #lineart - at first I wanted lineart to be more visible and color shading rather flat in the final piece, but got carried away with lips and makeup, and the rest followed 😅
#procreatetimelapse - lots of changes in this one, lots of time spent on a few versions of lineart, couldn’t decide how the bird(s) should look, changed her outfit and background idea a few times. I’ll upload longer version to YT later, but quick one here works better. I think?

Fun bit of trivia - I quickly fixed the eyes in this version. You can see on previous photos I’ve drawn them blue and brown. I only later learnt how and why his eyes really looked ;)

It’s David Bowie’s birthday! And also my Grandma’s. He passed away in 2016, and she in 2022. I miss them both for various reasons, they were great inspirations.
Throwback to an old piece I’ve drawn then. Traditional #coloredpencils - I really miss having time to explore this medium more.

Almost there, but not yet. Now onto final polish. Uploading another preview, so there’s a whole process here, in one thread ;)
Went with neon, still a work in progress. Surprisingly going for flat colors but with more texture and gradient is tricky. I keep changing a lot, repainting small details of the lineart too. The face on that oversaturated background will be interesting to polish ;) But I like hard contrasts.
Colours are gonna be tricky for this one.. Can’t decide between very vintage or a with a hint of something neon popping out 🤔
