With one of my stimulas checks I bought a refurbished Dyson pet stick.

K loved it. Vacuumed so much I feared he'd suck the color out of the floor.

But it was a turning point.

Now he loves vacuums.

He's now vacuuming the kitchen a second time.

We originally got the first Dyson because K was terrified of vacuums. Even toy ones would give him a panic attack.

Then one day he decided he liked the name Dyson. Showed us pictures. Watched videos.

People who are kind to my kid for no reason are awesome people.

Agent K ate dinner and is now back to playing with his new vacuum.

He's currently taking apart all the fans and vacuuming the motors.

I adore this little handy man.

K has vacuumed the living room and kitchen, and tucked it into a box of extra throw blankets like it's a new puppy he's put to bed, even patting it and softly whispering to it.

Suffice to say, he loves the new little vacuum.

I was going to get for him the first week of May, I swear.

But thank you. No gift card was included though.

I would have K make a thank you video, but he's busy vacuuming the apartment within an inch of its life.

Besides auditory processing issues I have olfactory processing issues, and to me lilies smell like electrical fires. So all April long, but especially around Easter, the world smells like it's burning down.

But silver lining - skunks smell like chocolate, so I have that going for me.

After it was dark, like two beats, the sound of a cat eating crunchies continued in the kitchen.

I decided to mention it here and I'm going back to sleep.

I guess the ghost cat haunting the apartment was hungry.

Then it hit me that I was hearing a cat eating crunchy food.

If you owned a cat, that sound is unmistakable.

I got up and went to the kitchen, and nothing. No cat, and the sound stopped.

After a moment I left and got undressed for bed, made up the couch and turned out the lights.

Not a Shadow Thing sighting, but another ghost cat encounter.

Picked up Agent K from his dad's and apparently conked out immediately after returning home. Woke up at midnight, still dressed and trying to figure out what got my attention.

TikTok keeps showing me Christmas content with lots of snow, almost like they're trying to help me through the coming hell of summer.

I know some of you might know but, my teen nephew is very interested in becoming an animator.

He's in high school currently as a freshman.
