An F18 apparently, even so the fact we dont know the basics is interesting

Once is an accident, twice is unfortunate, three times is habit forming especially on the same sortie. Did he land as if nothing happened, did he crash or even get shot down?
Also, what happened to the Kuwaiti chap who shot down 3 F15s.
Remembering the start of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising on this day in 1943
Bloody well done mate
Which are now free if you pay for parking
Be careful driving in Oxford, there is now a City Centre congestion charge
Ok guys and gals, while the bebeh and I have been sick I’ve been working on a new side hustle idea, hope to be up and running with slots from July:

They are the bad guys and I dont support them but top trolling by the Iranian Government. Trump (bad as well) has had some kind of dementia induced breakdown hasnt he. I'm surprised that no one has the ability/guts to move him aside for his own good. The American political system is broken
What are you going for? I live just south of the City and I am often in for work.
Sounds like a great idea, it would work really well for personal items. Not sure you can compete with the companies working for big businesses (I just had a load of documents scanned for work) but that's not your market. Go for it.
I haven't seen any reports of how close they actually got yet, although presumably the one that was shot down was descending towards its target.
So sorry Tony
I am thankful for two mothers. One who birthed me then gave me up so I could have a better life. The other who chose me and made me the man I am today. I Love and I am grateful for both of them.

That's good corned beef!
Anything but new-CUE-lar
The death of HMS Hood in Chapter 4 of Pursuit by Ludovic Kennedy is some of the best naval history writing I have read. Tragic and stunning in equal measure.
Assuming the prop hasn't been changed that is. I have seen a number of P51D's but only one with the original cuffed prop blades which are now very rare.
Many years ago we bought a property from an Oxford Don who had carried out research into the health benefits of the diets of the Inuit people of the Arctic (wrong end of the world I know). He ate only whale & seal meat for a year. The only change he found was that he grew a large pair of breasts!
Thats simply beautiful
Oi @nmtdambusters.bsky.social @alanallport.bsky.social you’re selling books here!
I was given a book as a present today (Ian Fleming & Operation Golden Eye - Keeping Spain out of World War 2 by Mark Simmons), I spent 30 mins going through the end notes and Bibliography before I even looked at the contents. @alexchurchill.bsky.social would be so proud. 😂
I absolutely endorse this and repeat it on behalf of myself and every author who has worked long and hard at their craft. If you do this, it’s no different from taking my wallet and helping yourself to the contents.
This will be afternoon listening while doing research.
Oh bugger, hope you feel better soon, take two books and call me in the morning.
That’s what James thought about on Monday, I get the feeling the idea is in its infancy.
A rather nice catch from my local 2nd hand bookshop £6 the pair @almurray.bsky.social
Its an enjoyable read, and a quick one. I found myself rolling my eyes and tutting at the obvious bias.
It’s an easy read that’s for sure. Not sure about the conclusions though.
