I've officially been diagnosed with colon cancer. I'll be going through chemo starting next week, it's gonna be a six months long process.
I've had a lot of folks ask how they can help - I'm in really good hands between my sister who lives nearby and my neighbors who are excellent friends.
TFW you finally find a comfortable position and get a couple hours of good sleep but then you wake up hungry and know you'll never find this position again...
On the plus side, we figured out what cocktail of drugs lets me get blood work and IV stuff taken care of AND that I don't freak out about having the IV in. So yay?
Hey all. Just a quick update.
I was admitted to hospital last week after some masses were found in my colon and liver. I'm home again now waiting on biopsy results. Real tired and sore but I'm finding ways to be comfortable.
Pretty scared, though.
Me: I'm being healthier and have switched to tea instead of coffee!

Like seriously, what did they expect not having the well-established and perfectly-suited-for-the-role Grant Gustin play the part? The Flash on the CW was great because they *had the right actor*. As soon as I heard it wasn't gonna be Grant, didn't matter who it was, I wasn't gonna watch it.
And so we drift. We had really good times though. Just all in the past now.
Like, I miss playing with the guys but they're all finished with all the seasonal stuff so the focus is on end game things. I have a hard time having the energy to even play anymore and want to do the episodes but that means playing solo. And bungies made it so they can't even help me.
This sums up pretty well my current state with Destiny as well. I found myself not keeping up with content only to have all my pals get so far advanced beyond me that I had no chance of catching up. Add to that some missions won't let people who've already completed it join you and I'm stuck.
I am so sick of chicken.
Does it get better after the first episode? Cuz that one was pretty terrible.
