Is anyone surprised by this?
Trump can diss California all he wants, but here we have alert systems notifying everyone when an elderly, sickly, confused
adult goes missing.
Nice compilation. #handsoff #boston was huge! #resist #indivisible

This is the essay which Rumeysa Ozturk cosigned. Her visa was revoked without informing her. She was detained by masked agents and whisked away in an umarked car to detention in Louisiana under threat of deportation, with no due process. www.tuftsdaily.com/article/2024...
Worst. Episode. EVER.
The character limit on BSKY is driving me nuts today. Having trouble chopping a quote into the right-sized pieces. Is there a good tool for iPhone? Or do I need to save it for when I’m on a computer?
Upcoming protests

8/8The date and time coincides with a national call to action [...] Please feel free to forward this widely, and I hope to see old friends and new there. Let’s flex our people power!

7/ 8I believe it would be counter-productive to block pedestrian access to the showroom because then Tesla would have a claim to our infringing on people’s freedom. Instead let’s make it difficult for Tesla to argue against our simple, peaceful (if loud!) lawful exercise of freedom of speech.
6/8 I recommend stalling for time but then moving to the public sidewalk, where the action can continue lawfully as long as pedestrian traffic is not impeded. Sidewalk chalk art on public sidewalks in Boston is lawful, btw.
5/8 Please note that the outdoor plaza in front of the showroom doors, while in the public realm, is privately owned, and security or law enforcement is likely to ask people with signs to leave.
4/8, Convention Center, the AAAS meeting venue! Please come with signs, markers, sidewalk chalk (I will be arriving around 5 but will try to arrange for some supplies to be there before 4:30). I’m using #BoycottTesla and #DeposeElon and you may consider those but do be creative with your signs!
3/8 I would like to invite all AAAS Boston attendees, and anyone else, to join me in peacefully (but boisterously!) calling for a Tesla boycott and to Depose Elon on Thursday Feb 13 from 4:30-5:30 pm, in front of the Tesla showroom at 888 Boylston Street, 250 feet from the doors of the Hynes
2/8We have a golden opportunity to inflict direct economic damage on grifter Musk! A high visibility Boston action coinciding with a major national conference has the potential to have nationwide impact and snowball the bankruptcy of Tesla, musk’s original claim to fame.
1/8Please share this message widely among Boston area people (and Burlington Vt, and…everywhere there’s a Tesla showroom), whether they’ll be attending the upcoming American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) meeting in Boston or not (the rest of this note is specific to Boston).

YOU SWORE AN OATH TO US, NOT ELON GET THE TOOLKIT TO TAKE ACTION: INDIVISI.ORG/CHOOSETOFIGHT
This week, we’re asking you to plan a visit to your closest US Senate office to push senators to stand up against Trump’s lawless overreach. The ask will be slightly different if your senator is a Democrat or Republican. We put together a toolkit with everything you need: indivisi.org/choosetofight
RFK Jr. is far more than just an “anti-vaxxer.” Over the years, he’s made countless outrageous statements on a wide range of topics. We’ve compiled 10 of the wildest clips—though even that barely scratches the surface.
They’re testing. It wasn’t a “glitch” that turned off Medicaid portals. They’re seeing which things they can delete without a fight.
Vets benefits? Abuse shelters? Aid to children? Cancer research?
They don’t care who gets hurt. Just what they can get away with.
Keep. Fighting. Back.
