We are forecasting a harsh winter this year, but crops usually survive. In my latitudes, summer storms are more destructive, flooding half of the garden. Hope to get some crops by then...

Winter sowing.

Did some Winter sowing yesterday, directly into the ground - dill, parsley, salsify, some carrots and also hound's-tongue for keeping mice away from my garden shed next year. Also will sow some flower seeds in containers later.
