That any of us break free from the brainwashing of a 🍇 pedo society is incredible bc it runs so deep in the fabric of everything that holds patriarchy together. That’s why they don’t want women to be educated. They need to keep us squarely in the property category with children and animals.

It’s new to point out the power imbalances in age gaps, the grossness of a man dating an underage girl. We are taught girls used to get married off as soon as they hit puberty/could get pregnant. That men are hardwired to be attracted to fertility ie. Youth. That the ideal “woman” is a young teen.

It’s not surprising to anyone who grew up within that culture that this is how men (esp rich powerful men) view women and children. It’s basically the default view we are groomed into from birth. It is so normalized most ppl don’t even notice it anymore.

Parents were allowed to be abusive bc children are property to be seen and not heard. To be obedient and subservient at all times. To never talk back (ie never ask questions & accept what you’re told by an adult as absolute fact and law). All authority figures were in the right no matter what.

We were taught as young girls that our entire God given purpose was to be wives and mothers. To fulfill our husbands needs. It was implied that you consent by being in the relationship so he can’t actually 🍇 you bc he “owns” your body. And once you’re “used” you are 🗑️ to any other man.

That is the time they’re pushing to return to. They want women to be property again the way children still are. They hate that women have any autonomy or the legal right to say no to men. They need us fully reliant on them. They were promised bang maids & they’re pissed they aren’t getting them.

Men are viewed as owning women. I grew up in an evangelical school environment. We were taught fathers own their children and then eventually girls are owned by their husbands. We never own ourselves and never expect to. Bc men owned women we couldn’t own property, open bank accounts, get divorced

When you are functionally not any different from property in the eyes of the law it shouldn’t be a hard leap to understanding that “owners” can and will do whatever they want with their “property”. It’s a large part of why crimes against women & children are not taken seriously.

It’s completely normalized in our society so much so that even our beauty standards are rooted in the pedo mindset. You must be small framed, childlike, a virgin, hairless, high voice, submissive, free of any wrinkles, innocent, not too well-educated & def not a feminist. It’s baked into the culture

Kids go “missing” from foster care, reservations, boarding schools. Churches and groups like Boy Scouts openly protect predators

We know that Black and brown children and babies were eaten, used as bait, skinned, used to make furniture etc. We have records of all this stuff. Why would anyone believe that just magically stopped?

In America children are legally considered property to be owned. They can be bought & sold through legal channels (like adoption & foster care). They have no autonomy and no rights over themselves. Children are systemically dehumanized. In most states it’s legal for an adult to marry a child.

They have been doing that for decades; it is a natural conclusion if you view children as property.

Likewise, it is the end point for misogyny; if you view women as children, then the reverse becomes palatable.
