Here are the connected universe (parallel/multiverse) ideas I have so far:

Basically, some of my self inserts from different fandoms would be different versions or reincarnations of the same characters. And their relationships or stories from one universe would mirror or share similarities with their relationships or stories in another universe.

This way my stories for each fandom could still be their own individual things, while being connected to other stories and not omitting the crossover ideas completely.

I'm thinking that some of my fanfics could be in universes parallel to each other, sorta like their own small multiverses or various timelines.

It's mainly the aesthetics or tones of them that I'm not into. I just prefer different things, and I'm okay with that. I'll mainly be focusing on the series' that I do get invested in from now on.

These characters are still very much my "types" and I had good memories making yumeship stories with them, but I just can't get into the series' they're from anymore. Or I'll be temporarily interested in one series, and then start to lose interest over time.

I've been thinking about this for some time now, and I think it's time for me to accept it.

So I still self ship with certain characters, but… I'm not really into the series' that they're from.

Video games are likely going to be more expensive now, because by some people glazing Sonic Racing Crossworlds (while hypocritically calling Nintendo greedy), they are still enabling the gaming industry to increase the prices of their games.

Tbh, I'm not sure if the game would go on sale or not, it's too early to tell.

I don't care if the game has a bunch of crossover characters/content, or even if it looks "better" than Mario Kart World in general. $70 is too much for a video game imo, and $90 is way too high of a price to sell at launch.

I'm seeing the EXACT same arguments for Sonic Racing: Crossworlds as the ones hardcore Nintendo fans had for Mario Kart World. I feel like SEGA is being greedy with their prices too, but people seem to be fine with it as long as it's a Sonic game or a Mario Kart competitor.

A game with shitty UI, "funny meme" background enemy NPCs instead of actual characters from the Mario series that appeared in previous games, and no Miis.

I'm NOT spending $80 on that BS. (Or any video game tbh)

And now Nintendo is drip feeding content in their games through "free updates", putting a price on their demo game, and charging $80 for Mario Kart World.

I didn't understand why we had to pay for online now when it was free before, and there hasn't been any improvements on it. And then the N64 Expansion Pack came along, including a bundle with the Happy Home Designer DLC when not everyone has Animal Crossing.
