I would say literally all of them are too long for their content

Combat is definitely messy. I recommend trying multiple characters

I have really complicated feelings about this one. I both absolutely love it, and kind of dislike it. It’s a mess but a pretty mess

I beat Trails in the Sky FC!

✅ Fun battle system
✅ Great music
✅ Pretty visuals
❌Bad pacing
❌ Weak storytelling

I don’t quite get the hype with this one. It’s fine, but it also has cliched characters, awful pacing and some of the worst dialogue I’ve seen in a modern RPG. Not my favorite 🤷‍♀️

The love story in Trails in the Sky is so cliche and cringe that I’m wondering if it’s heading for a genius rug pull. Probably not…

Trails in the sky is really really good so far, but does Estelle get less annoying?

It’s hard to say if it’s too long so much as it’s too long for how its story is written. There’s no reason writing-wise why there have to be as many islands as there are

Even this one did feel like that at times 😬

I beat Dragon Quest VII R!

. Deep and satisfying job system
. Rewards exploration
. Too long
. Squanders time travel premise

I think in terms of gameplay, it’s one of the best RPG‘s I’ve played. It’s so deep If it didn’t botch the premise, it would be an all-timer

From what I understand, they cut out some content, and that’s probably a good thing in this case

Dragon Quest VII is an incredible gameplay RPG. Every move has value, the job system is deep and dynamic, bosses vary in strategy, steal is actually useful, so many secret goodies, the list goes on

If you play RPGs for gameplay, this is as good as it gets!

What a pleasant shock this was! It’s a surprisingly strong story with an amazing cast. A delightful game ^_^ And just in time for VII to arrive in the mail!

I had only a mild interest in Pragmata, but I held on cause it’s Capcom. Just finished the demo, and now I’m super interested. Should have never doubted Peakcom
