And have we fogotten how we yearned for dull leadership when we were all fed-up with the Tory dramas of the previous 12 years?

Cherry-picking a small number of failures that have been given dispropotionate airtime by a clearly bias media environment does not mean he is incompetent or that Labour is 'far right'. It ignores this govt's many achievements in extremely difficult circs that have been beyond the govt's control.

No - a single person, for example, doesn't need life insurance

There's a long list of journalists who agreed but would now rather we all forgot about that.

Fun fact that lying UK journalistic hacks won’t tell you because they hate Labour: Boris Johnson did not pass vetting when Theresa May appointed him Foreign Secretary. #UKPolitics

Please repost if you agree that the BBC has been undermining democracy and enabling foreign interference in our politics by promoting and protecting Farage.

Take a guess lol
The one thing the right don't want is less boat crossings and fewer migrants in hotels. They need them so their supporters have someone else to blame for their own problems and failures. If Starmer takes that away they have little else left as actual policies.

Meanwhile, over on freespeechistan, your Prez, spent yesterday dragging Amnesty for so rarely mentioning the victims of His illegal war. Not they appear to have noticed we launched another massive assault against civilians.

Thanks for taking the time to reply Dave. It sounds like a lot is fixable given political will & a bit of time.
WRT electricity, I'm not sure that's a factor as there's not much imported & we are frequently exporting on windy days.
High transport costs definitely a factor as it effects everything.

i've seen or heard of a few more than that, and a few of them carried the implication that they were the tip of a very, very large iceberg

as I often say without success when this comes up, there is an INCREDIBLE story to be had for any journalist (for a non-UK publication ofc) who looks into Kamm
