I'v lived nearby most of my life, the section shown in the first pic is actually the 'branch' that ultimately forms part of the original moat for Skipton castle. well worth a walk up there if you're visiting the town

reminds me of my sisters scotty dog. she was usually grumpy at the front end and happy and wagging at the rear, she used to turn like this and growl at her own tail for being happy

not trying to be critical but I just cant see it having the presence of the original. theres no other bike that looks like a cbx coming towards you

Who can we believe right now: the extremist dictator of a terrorist government or the President of Iran

I hear what you're saying, I suspect the EU countries have enough (collective) clout to do deals to keep the oil flowing, I'd guess we're now reliant (largely) on the USA

no chance, Mike sold the paddles on the black market, Rik tried to cox with poetry, Neil found it too heavy and fell in the Thames, Vyv pulled the cork out of the boat thinking it was bootleg vodka

the fact that our MP's are still stupid enough to tell us not to panic proves conclusively that their other favourite line (lessons must be learned) is utter bullshit

an interesting and worthwhile read on this subject is The History of Lothersdale, the village was largely independent of large landowners. its sadly quite hard to lay your hands on a copy

strangely I'v just been having a similar debate about mutton on reddit. I grew up on a farm and we'd often have a fair bit in the chest freezer, as I said over there, its a strong flavoured meat and generally best stewed (probably why it works so well in curry)
