About 3 wks ago, I noticed a good-sized lump on her forehead when I caught her profile. The vet said likely a squamous cell carcinoma. Lifespan is usually 4 mos after it starts. We were there so I said no to scans or treatment. We let her go when she stopped eating and slept 99% of the time. ❤️

It's not as bad as it could be because I had a premonition of her death back in Dec 2025 and knew it was coming. She came down with some sniffles and sneezing in Dec. She wasn't sick. Her blood work was normal and her behavior and appetite were normal but I just knew.

Your pups are cute! I grew up in the PNW. Gabby was definitely a FL kitty. Below 75°, she was looking for her heated pad.

So, mom is going to be earning a salary now for keeping things on track?

Thank you. We loved her very much. Very strange around here without her. She was a constant presence. Last night, when I went to bed, I put my water bottle on my bedside table, something I normally couldn't do because, 100%, it would have been knocked onto the floor by morning!
