Some men experience the riches of the earth only to be blind to their own wealth
It’s not just a manifesto; it’s a karp.
Avengers: Endgame would be greatly improved if it were an hour shorter. Absolutely nobody thinks it needs to be any longer.
To the extent that 15 is true, it's solely because of the degeneracy of Karp's subculture. Germany and Japan were better off not having nuclear weapons until Trump decided that proliferation was good actually.
The fancy brunch place on LaBrea is definitely not worth the hour-plus wait in line.
Tu'Pari torturing G'kar with dialogue: "You are to know pain. You are to know fear. At the appointed hour, you pie. That may be a typo, but the Thenta Makur never betray a commission."
The job market for tamarisk hunters is looking good, at least until California finishes building the Straw.

With the world's worst craniorectal inversion.
And the Texas judiciary needs to figure out why those languages have only one licensed interpreter, especially when UT has a great Hindi/Urdu program.
To say nothing of making licenses harder to get and easier to lose.
Breaking: HHS’s ban on gender-affirming care is struck down. Rarely have I read a ruling this sharply worded.
“This case is one of a long list of examples of how a leader’s wanton disregard for the rule of law causes very real harm to very real people.”

You're gonna give him lots of ear scratches, which is hardly nothing.
At least not without spending money he'd rather use at the Poodle Club.
I'd run Linux for the same reason I currently run mac OS and Windows — closed-source software that's not available on FreeBSD. Especially since OCI containers are a thing on FreeBSD now.
Is there any data on compliance costs? I’d expect those to be very non-negligible and also paid entirely by Americans.
The head of the FBI isn't supposed to be getting blackout drunk. He's supposed to be cross-dressing

So many to choose but this was the first one I thought of.
Shriekback, "The Bastard Sons of Enoch"
Also works for the Bible verse meme
I’m looking for an automated way to read others’s scientific data without giving credit or acknowledgement, and also claim full credit for insights from it. And I want it to have a fitting name
OAI: say no more
Also it’s funny how the people who are doing the most complaining about California’s deficit never want to do the things that would eliminate it (starting with getting rid of Prop 13 and upzoning all the things).
If he hasn’t read the Bible because he can’t read, there’s an audiobook of the NIV with Samuel L. Jackson that ought to be pretty good. (Spoiler: he hasn’t read the Bible because Jesus is woke.)
as far as i can tell pope leo has never mentioned trump by name hes just like “killing people is wrong” or “concentration camps arent good” and theyre all taking it personally
My grandfather.
@deptofwar.bsky.social Sec Hegseth, my grandfather served in WW2. He carried a piece of paper in his pocket the whole time, on which he wrote his favorite Bible verse. It'd mean so much if you could recite this verse at your next speech:
"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." — Jesus Christ
I’d rather get rid of uniformity clauses and tax surface parking at eye-watering rates, but this is a reasonable plan B.
Three fluffy golden brown and white dogs sit in a kitchen with wooden floors and a blue and gold runner. They are in a row sitting close to each other and staring at me with some dismay
“What do you mean FORBIDDEN?”
A tortie looks peeved that I caught her in the act of reading “Preparing for War.”
Should I be concerned? Or are torties always developing themselves?
Legend of Koizumi is finally coming out in English; the first volume is available now electronically and a week from today in hardcopy. If this scene from the anime doesn't sell you, I don't know what to say. bookshop.org/p/books/refo... #mahjong
