Idea: A convention artists collab zine. Every artist gets a page or two for some new original art, along with ad space at the end for their comms and new merch. They could be sold cheap at major cons to draw attention to the smaller artists involved.

As for the work itself, once the money has changed hands, it’ll be my top priority! If I’m absolutely unable to get it done though, I’ll offer a refund, but it shouldn’t come to that.

Also, I too commission other artists, and would be mad as hell to get ghosted! Everyone has a responsibility to do the job for which they are paid, and artists who betray clients’ trust ruin the commission ecosystem for everyone.

In the age of AI, we absolutely cannot afford to burn credibility!
