I had to turn the heat back on this morning and I was so grumbly about it.

Oh, is Sushi Go! Party too casual? That I think can take up to 8?
I always feel like the table goes completely silent for the duration of 7 Wonders, but maybe that's just the people I play with, =P
Hilariously I think I bought it at Target (pre-boycott) for like 14 bucks on clearance
As I've been touting since I started teaching:
Regionalization, fixing the funding formulas, just fucking do it already and make white suburbanites briefly uncomfortable
Gov Lamont is trying to stave off a challenger to his re-election by noting he's ordered a study to figure out the educational inequities in this state.
Good thing there's one from 2013 that Democrats did absolutely nothing with:

I think one of the most exhausting parts of my job is how constantly I'm asked "what more could [I] be doing to improve outcomes" as though I'm the only one in this with agency.
And honestly I worry about the level of Whedon involvement.
Autistic people enjoy parallel play? Well, first of all it's called Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead
I've gotten notes from like "didn't eat today and can't really focus" to "just got dumped, can I do this again when things don't suck". That's something. But that's not this.
To be clear, I'm not anti-notes. I'm anti "please accept this interaction in lieu of my actually showing any effort on this test for the 7th time this year".
More annoying than the lack of work/sheer number of wrong answers on tests are notes to me. They aren't about what's going on or a rationale. It's 10 drawings of SpongeBob with the note "I tried my best!" or "please don't give me a bad grade". It takes a lot to respond to those with kind honesty.
Had a delightful time at Intercon, though I definitely wish I'd taken off today to get my brain/living space back in order.
Why I'll never vote for Newsom:
People are throwing messages tied to bottles over the wall to explain they’ve been kept in one big room since last April and have no fruit or recreation or sufficient access to lawyers and no final court date.
That is a concentration camp.

I was wondering how you weren't including any Oscar Wilde, but his gays were messy.

I say "tell me how" if it's a situation where I'm not 100% it's task avoidance.
Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov, a freshman at Brown, had a condition as a child that required brain surgery. The experience created an unshakable ambition to become a brain surgeon, his sister said.
He died after being shot on campus on Saturday.
I thoroughly enjoyed Knives Out 3. I thought the framing was a little weaker than Glass Onion, but the mystery and cast interplay was more compelling.
I am uninterested in hearing any Democratic candidate for any federal legislative position that does not make Abolishing ICE a part of their platform.
I hope you feel the same.
my condolences <3
