Move, clouds!

If any artists see their names in this list and want me to send any of the files to them, I'm more than happy to do that. I once lost some stories I'd written and was able to find people online who still had copies.
Obviously, I can't (and won't!) distribute this since I don't hold the copyrights to any of it, but it's wild to go back and see what art was like back in the alt.fan.furry usenet days. So many of these files predate web galleries, and were downloaded as uuencoded text files.
Sorting through boxes of old stuff today and I found a DVD I burned in 2005. On it was a folder called "Art & Such." Said folder contains nearly 1.2 gigs of furry art from the early 90s to the early 00s, most of it sorted by artist, many of whose names I'd forgotten.
Registered! I had fun last year and am looking forward to seeing everybody again!
0.2 is great for detailed work, just be prepared for the longer print times. I really like the results I get with the smaller hotend, and typically use it for final prints after prototyping with the 0.4.
Made some snacks last night. Regular, and fun-size with sprinkles!
I've got a full suit currently in production, being made by my dream suit maker. The idea has been in the works for quite some time, and it's all coming together. I'll finish up the head base and ship it off this month, then it's all in their hands. Can't wait for the big reveal once it's done!
Given the nature of my last post, it's probably time to announce that I have a secondary bsky account, for the Protogen variant of my current fursona.
bsky.app/profile/k0rp... is the account, and most Protogen-related stuff will posted there going forward.
Signs of life detected!
(No verdict yet on whether or not it's intelligent life...)
I hope you have the best time ever!
I was almost able to go, but my work trip got changed from Dallas to a different city. (Some people got to go to Dallas, just not the furry one...) Someday I'll make it to a US con, and I hope I'll finally be able to meet you!
I don't ever expect makers to include free swag when they ship orders, but it makes for such an awesome surprise when they do. Thanks for the goodies, @protofrenz.bsky.social!
That's such a bummer. I've never used any kind of connected toy, but have always been curious about them. Guess I know a brand to avoid, at least.
Taking the train was the right call today. I got to see Ponta!
He got his own finish line photo!

Those are adorable! So cute!
They knew. You KNOW they knew.
I've been basing my build on the Interstate 75W and using Thonny for coding. It's a solid little board, and probably more than enough for what I want to do, but I also wouldn't mind something more plug&play for protogen usage.

Very cool! Do you sell the software separate from full heads? I'm working on a protogen of my own, and have a head and LED matrices already. I've been using a pimoroni controller board, but your setup seems way more advanced than the simple animations I've made by myself.
And here I am just wanting to be a fluffy robot in real life - with boobs.
Soon...
Interesting beer discoveries tonight at YaMaYa. The one in the middle is from Latvia, and the others are from Lithuania. Total for all three pints? „1,000!
Welcome back!
iPad Pro M1, and the capture card is a Genki ShadowCast 2. Orion is the name of the iOS app that displays the captured video. I've used this setup at work a few times, and it works quite well. Looking forward to giving it the airplane test soon.
Ready to join up as well! Hit me up with that info. đș
It's really nice! The usb-c port supports external displays, so it's easy to hook it up to a TV, monitor, or even a tablet if you've got a capture card. DS and 3DS don't always play nice with that, but the WiiU emulator does.
It may not be a PC, or have those resolutions, but check out the Ayn Thor. It's a dual-screen Android handheld that can run just about anything. Over had one for a little while now, and it excels at DS, 3DS, and WiiU emulation. If can even run some Switch and PC games.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think the developer of this area may have a thing for foxes.
Do you use a similar setup for the videos you make of your avatar in the real world, like the airport and Loisir hotel ones?
So cool! What app are you using to do this?
