Well that's weird. As far as I know RDR2 should work out of the box. Your best bet would likely be asking for help in r/linux_gaming on reddit. You should be able to find someone who's had a similar problem and fixed it there as long as the issue is on Heroic's side and not some weird Epic Games bug

I personally prefer the Heroic Games Launcher because it looks nicer and has a simpler game installation process. Lutris creates individual containers for each game you install which leads to multiple launcher installations and bloats your system but in the end they both work just as well in game

How did you install the Epic Games Store? If you did it using vanilla wine then that is bound to cause issues. The most common ways to do it is to either use Lutris (Preferably checking if there is a dedicated RDR2 script, otherwise use the generic Epic Games Launcher script) or the Heroic Launcher
