Indeed where are you going and in the UK bikes have a special box at the front of lights so the cyclist will be back in front of you anyway

You can also always tell a fellow cyclist when they are driving as they are the ones that slow down and give a massive gap as they overtake
And no the pics aren't the ones *I* want I was sending pics to my son to check if there were any he wanted (before I saw the prices ) - I prefer technic, buildings and star wars
Just in Billund in Denmark so I thought I should visit the Lego shop in the airport - erm the prices are keen :) then again they have the pacman machine and the Trex skeleton
Well this explains the posts that kept on popping up
The cyberattack on The British Library in October 2023 knocked out ebooks and almost ever other computer thing there for years.
Ebooks just came back. They were knocked out everywhere using the BL’s license (legal deposit libraries I think? More libraries?)
Distributed physical copies matter.
The iranians say backdoors....www.theregister.com/2026/04/21/iran_claims_u... who wants to bet the iranians just didn't patch? Perhaps all the Fortinet vulns are just nation state level backdoors ?

We tell people to apply firmware updates to their phones and PCs - how about to their bikes ! Not sure what that just fixed but at least been out on the latest stable versions
I'd like to point out that I have been outside cycling all the way through the winter... Just to annoy you :)
Good luck
This is the kind of pettiness that I respect
Just came back from a 70 km gravel ride and suddenly realized that I had the remains of a succulent Chinese meal from last night in the fridge.... There is now no more succulent Chinese meal in the fridge :)
Unbelievable corruption right in front of our faces.
Just made a keto muffin in a cup using almond flour, egg, baking powder, sweetener, butter and almond milk. It was yummy and only needed 1:30 in the microwave
Nick cave said of AI "Songs arise out of suffering, by which I mean they are predicated upon the complex, internal human struggle of creation and, well, as far as I know, algorithms don't feel" now i would say that if you have ever done security work in Java or on oracle you have suffered....
i think the main group of people that the Mythos AI model is going to impact are the bug bounty hunters.... their payments and long term finance model is doubtful - the rest of us will carry on as normal
Security people worried about AI generated 0days when they don't have MFA and have windows 2008 still around. Almost no one is getting hacked by unknown exploits - they are getting hacked by credential theft and unpatched machines.
I do wonder who they will get to mediate ? If they used Pakistan for the Iran war who will they use in the pope war ? Belgium ? Is there a theological principle here ?
the French story is a little bit of a sleeper, not for that it is - but for what it represents. If it works then we could see more big EU gov contracts going to non USA players. There is the potential for seismic shift in the tech industry... potential
There is employment hope for me yet
Blocking the Strait of Hormuz to unblock the Strait of Hormuz is peak Trump foreign policy.
My thoughts on Anthropic Mythos. It's not the end of world (and quite frankly so far appears to be completely irrelevant to the real world).

I suppose I always suspected that this may be the case but to see it laid out so clearly is wild www.mdsec.co.uk/2026/03/disa... I wonder if it has other applications for some embedded as they're using essentially the same hardware

Why Melania Trump's statement is a fascinating exercise in text and performance
A close reading of an odd public statement

Extraordinary to see the UK PM putting Trump and Putin together like this, and referring to 'Trump' not 'President Trump'. A lot has changed in the last few weeks - this would have been unimaginable six months ago - and I don't see how it changes back. www.politico.eu/article/star...
Strong statement 👏
Pope Leo XIV will reportedly visit African migrants in Lampedusa on July 4th instead of attending the United States' 250th anniversary celebrations.

Bought myself the Lego insects set... I was admiring it and then suddenly I noticed that my teenage daughter was suddenly also admiring it. We came to an agreement where I swapped her my new set for the Lego Nintendo game boy I bought for Christmas but she's still hasn't assembled
